Celebrate Community Feast’s final weeks on the Lui Art Wall with dim sum and a special conversation with the artist.
Thursday, August 21:
Join San Francisco-based artist and muralist Chelsea Ryoko Wong and Asian Art Museum Associate Curator of Contemporary Art Naz Cuguoğlu for a conversation about the creative process, optimism in today’s world, and community.
Wong’s vibrant mural Community Feast was commissioned by the Asian Art Museum for the Lawrence and Gorretti Lui Hyde Street Art Wall. Come celebrate the artwork in its final weeks at the museum, enjoy some dim sum, and hear from the artist about storytelling through public art as a vehicle for creating joy, promoting solidarity, and celebrating diversity within our communities.
